ACT

ACTING first!  Whether you are a ballerina or a pop vocalist, you have a role. Understanding that role in terms of acting is crucial to each performer’s development. It is also why our students will always interview and audition well! We offer acting classes for children, teens, and professional adults, as well as classes for every acting medium—stage to screen.

Our training offers students the opportunity to explore the many opportunities acting provides – beyond the stage or screen. Actor training sharpens critical thinking skills, teaches students how to think on their feet, and shows how to research and market themselves for a role or job! Our weekly classes, intensives, and private coaching sessions have proven to be successful locally as well as internationally from school plays to full-scale feature films.

Acting First

Founder and Director of our Acting Discipline Chair, Beth C. Hall, discusses the philosophy behind “Acting First” and how we train versatile actors. PAL offers many group classes, but we can also assist with taping auditions, setting up headshots, and more!
